The MCPH Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) provides workshops on public health concepts for health care professionals and community-based public health workers.

A series of five programs,  called “Essential Tools for Essential Services, ” was held between March 28 and June 13, 2008.  The series is a product of the MCPH AHEC.  It is funded through MCPH; the Maine AHEC Network, based at the University of New England; and by the New England Alliance.
