Sponsor Organizations

The Maine Center for Public Health is forever grateful for the generous support of organizations who contribute to our efforts. Their support will help provide the vital financial stability for an organization whose operating budget is primarily dependent on grants and contracts for specific program work. Our sponsors’ support will sustain MCPH’s future for Maine and our mission.  As a nonprofit, statewide, private sector organization in Maine that is devoted solely to improving the public's health, it is critical that MCPH remain part of the solution for the myriad of health issues facing Maine.

It is vital to our efforts to meet the many public health and health care challenges facing Maine today. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under the Federal IRS code (Federal Tax ID 31-1608473), all donations to the MCPH are fully tax-deductible.

MEET SOME OF OUR DONORS

Every year the Maine Center for Public Health is grateful to the companies and individuals across the state who support our work through generous donations. This year we acknowledge four organizations and one individual whose support has been vital to advancing our mission to improve the health of Maine citizens.

The Maine Association of Health Plans (MEAHP) is a non-profit trade organization that represents the state’s four major health plans. MEAHP works with its members and organizations to improve healthcare for all Maine citizens. To learn how MEAHP is working to help shape Dirigio’s Health Reform Plan go to www.meahp.com.

Since 1897 Maine residents and visitors have turned to Mount Desert Island Hospital for its combination of warm, personal care, and state-of-the-art services. The hospital provides a wide range of acute and primary care rehabilitation services, and educational programs to meet the communities’ needs. MDI is proud to be the National Rural Health Association’s 2007 Outstanding Rural Health Organization. www.mdihospital.org.
